More Beneath
A good day

That is genuinely good to hear.

More Beneath is not only about difficult things.

There can be more beneath joy too — gratitude, purpose, relationships, hope and the things that make life meaningful.

Think of three things that are good today — however small. Stay with them for a few seconds.

When life is good, what makes it matter?

Achievement? People you love? Freedom? Purpose? The feeling that your life is part of something bigger?

Joy can make us curious too.
Purpose

Maybe there is more beneath the good things too.

Sometimes joy makes us notice what we value most.

It can make us ask where meaning comes from, what makes a good life good, and what we want to do with the time we have.

Something to hold onto

Enjoy the good. Pass some of it on.

Gratitude does not need to make you guilty for being happy.

It can simply make you more awake to what is good — and more willing to share it.

Where this idea comes from

More Beneath is rooted in Christian faith.

Christians believe life is not accidental and that joy, love, beauty and meaning point beyond themselves.

At the centre of that belief is Jesus.

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”Psalm 118:24 · NIV
