Sometimes the weight you are carrying belongs to someone you love.
Caring about someone can leave you wondering what you are supposed to do.
You do not need to have all the answers.
You do not have to find perfect words or fix everything.
Sometimes what matters most is: I’m here. I see you. You do not have to pretend with me.
Stay close. Listen. Take it seriously.
Ask how they are really doing. Listen without immediately trying to solve it. Keep checking in.
If you are worried about their safety, help them reach appropriate professional or emergency support.
Your presence can matter more than perfect words.
You cannot carry someone else’s whole life for them.
But you can stay kind, stay present and help them reach the right support when they need it.
Nobody is invisible.
More Beneath is rooted in a Christian belief that nobody is invisible to God. Not your friend. Not the person you are worried about. And not you.
If you would like, you can explore that belief further.
